Impact sign two overseas players

On Wednesday, the Montreal Impact signed two player from across the pond.

First is French midfielder/winger Philippe Billy. Billy, a native of Nantes, came up through the French football youth system, starting with FC Nantes when he was 14 years old. During his pro career, Billy played twice for Stade Laval. He also played for Serie A (at the time) side Lecce. His most recent European team was Brest, who currently sit in 2nd place in Ligue 2.

The second player is Portugese midfielder Helder Filipe Da Costa Soares.

Both players have signed a two-year deal ith Montreal, and are expected to practice with the team immediately.
