AC to sign Luke Kreamalmeyer?

There has been some talk in the blogosphere that AC St. Louis has signed former Real Salt Lake draft pick, midfielder Luke Kreamalmeyer.

Kreamalmeyer is from Edwardsville, Illinois where he played his high school soccer at Edwardsville High School. He went on to play his college soccer at Bradley University. After college, Kreamalmeyer became the 37th overall pick of Real Salt Lake in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, but only played six matches with RSL.

During his professional career he played for both the Rochester Rhinos and Carolina RailHawks, two of the new NASL teams. He also had a short stints at the St. Louis Strikers and the Portland Timbers as well. In 136 professional matches, Kreamalmeyer has scored 30 goals.

Kreamalmeyer signed with Carolina in January of 2009. But we will see if the blogosphere is right on this story. We will keep you posted.

  1. Tom Timmerman has reported that Kreamalmeyer has indeed been signed by AC St. Louis. I like the signing, especially with the USL experience that Kreamalmeyer brings to the club.

  2. That sounds like a good signing, but are we going to get a striker with some height?
