We mentioned goalkeeper Alec Dufty in a previous post, “AC St. Louis: Five Unanswered Questions.”  The former University of Evansville keeper played in one game last season for NY Red Bulls, recording a shutout in relief of Danny Cepero.  After being waived by NYRB, he was signed by MLS for its goalkeeper reserve pool.  Chad Becker is a St. Louis area native who trained with the KC Wizards.  He is the second Francis Howell North HS player signed by ACSTL.  Both goalkeepers are 23.

Director of Player Development Francisco Filho announced after the signings that the team is assembled and “we are ready to begin.”  Training starts next week for the ACSTL players.
