DC United on Palace Baltimore preseason schedule.

March 1st 2010 – Baltimore, MD – Crystal Palace Baltimore will face Loyola University at 7:00pm, Wednesday March 10th in a pre-season friendly that will also serve as a fundraiser for Haitian earthquake relief charities.  The match will be the first ever played at the college’s brand new Ridley Stadium Athletic Complex, located at 2221 West Cold Spring Lane in Baltimore.  Admission to the game is free and donations will be accepted at the stadium by the school’s Hounds for Haiti organization, which will forward all funds directly to Catholic Relief Services.
The Loyola match is one of seven pre-season fixtures before Palace kick off their USSF D2 Pro League season on Friday April 16th at 7:00 pm at UMBC against visiting FC Tampa Bay Rowdies.

  1. I’m glad that Div2 teams are playing MLS teams in preseason.
    Even though its preseason, its some sort of measurement to compare how well the Div2 teams are doing, and preparation for possible encounters in the US Open Cup.
