Live Blog — AC St. Louis Meets Des Moines Menace in US Open Cup

AC St, Louis plays its first Lamar Hunt US Open Cup game in franchise history Tuesday June 15 at 7:30 pm in Des Moines against the PDL Menace.  The winner of tonight’s match will play the winner of the Kansas City Athletics-NSC Minnesota Stars match being played tonight in Blaine, Minnesota.  Claude Anelka’s AC St. Louis squad will look to add some luster to their season with a nice run in the US Open Cup.  Only one non-MLS team, the Rochester Rhinos, have won the cup since the inception of MLS.
