USL Senior Vice President of International Development Francisco Marcos is in Paris to meet and discuss possible USL international partnerships with representatives from several Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 professional clubs. The meeting was arranged by Tim Bailey of UK-based USL partner Beswicks Solicitors and Paul Durand of Soccer Link.

Marcos shared information regarding USL partnership opportunities and the newly-formed USL PRO with Lille Olympique SC Director General Frederic Paquet, General Manager Damien Comolli and Stephane Tessier of St. Etienne, FC Lorient Chairman Loic Fery, Troyes AC General Manager Richard Jezierski and Frederic Pipka of Le Havre AC.

Also present for the meeting were Xavier Thuilot of GM5 Consulting and Philippe Fafon of the National Union of Professional Footballers.
Following the presentations at the Hotel Rochester Paris, Marcos met with members of the media from Les Echos, L’Equipe, Le Parisien, and Le Journal du Dimanche.

Marcos will head to London next to participate in the International Business Summit for Leaders in Football, set for Wednesday and Thursday and hosted by Chelsea FC.
